I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, the location is absolutely breathtaking. Situated in the valley on the coast of a beautiful lake, the views from the rooms and restaurant overlooking the lake and mountains are stunning.
In short, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway.

Services, situation
More a restaurant than a hotel. Rooms are nice and clean but charmless and small.

The staff at Hotel Oberemont and the attached restaurant Le Bateau Ivre were extremely helpful and professional. Set on Le Bourget du Lac with mountain views the hotel provides the perfect place for a serene rest. The restaurant served fresh and extremly well prepared food with helpful staff. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and always made sure I was accommodated. The view from my lake view room was absolutely stunning, and it really revived my spirit and put a smile on my face. The hotel's location by the lake was impressive, and there was so much to do in the area. The cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities provided were top-notch. Additionally, the hotel had convenient parking and transportation options available, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding areas.
Nothing, all great.

We thought that the cuisine was outstanding: relevant creativity, not trying too hard. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Convenient location, only an hour away from Geneva. The imaginative and intense flavors of the dishes were a highlight.
The hotel aspect was underwhelming and the room was not great for the price paid. The decor was confusing and the modern touches felt out of place in what could have been a charming early 20th-century villa.

Very nice hotel with a great view over the lake. We were upgraded to a lower lake view, which was great. Pool is good and well kept. Staff spoke english and were very helpful. Breakfast was very good and you can eat on the terrace overlooking the lake. But it was expensive at 22 euros. Restaurant was very expensive and disappointing. Limited menu with very rich dishes. Service was also very slow. There are no other restaurants in walking distance and a number were closed in September. I would recommend the hotel, although it is expensive, but not the restuarant.

The location on the edge of the lake was splendid and as expected. We were looked after very well.
The dining room overlooking the lake could not have been better placed, we were comfortable and well looked after. As my wife and I are either eighty or approaching eighty, we remember the days when food in a restaurant tasted like food and looked like food and not a pretty picture. We were very disappointed with dinner. Maybe if it had cost say a third of what it actually did cost we might have been prepared to be more tolerant of it, but if that kind of food presentation is what folk want nowadays, then so be it. We will not stay again.
